One of the first results of starting school seems to be the fact that Katherine all of a sudden became a singer. She has always loved music and nursery rhymes. At one point I would sing to her in the car and she just kept asking for more more more. I was literally losing my voice. She knew everything from Itsy Spider to I'm a Little Teapot.
One day I wanted to see if she was absorbing the actual lyrics so I started reciting the lines and had her finish each one. And then after she started school, she came home one day and literally just sang the entire Twinkle Twinkle Little Star by herself! And then she started bringing home new songs, ones that I did not know, like Slippery Fish and Friends OneTwo Three... so I had to educate myself on YouTube haha...
