Size of baby: Your baby's waiting to greet the world! She continues to build a layer of fat to help control her body temperature after birth, but it's likely she already measures about 20 inches and weighs a bit over 7 pounds, a mini watermelon. (Boys tend to be slightly heavier than girls.) The outer layers of her skin are sloughing off as new skin forms underneath.
Total Weight Gain / Loss: I am going with 40, but to be honest I did not manage to weigh myself this morning so it may be +/- 1 lb to that...
Gender: A GIRL!
Movement: Still very very active. I don't know what all the talk is about babies slowing down towards the end. She loves to roll around.
What I miss: Nothing. And even if I did, freedom is so close that it's not even worth thinking about it.
Sleep: Pretty miserable this week. She is so big I just can't get comfortable. She does not like to be jostled around either so each time I switch positions she has a kicking fit and punches me in the ribs... Boy, she will be fun to take care of once she's out...
Symptoms: Guess what - RIBS HURT! Haha...
Cravings: Chocolate. Of all things. And I can't control myself, I have to eat it! Now I know why I had an aversion for 7 months. Without it I would be 3 times the size I am! Ha!
Best moment of this week: No one specific thing. Just knowing that we're so close to the end.
What are we looking forward to: Monday and Kate's arrival! Yea!

And here is the final belly picture!! Did not manage to offload the latest ones so I am resorting to literally a belly pic I took looking down while she was having one of her stretching fits... Can you see how pointy and egg shaped my belly is here?... Haha...
