How far along: 37 weeks
Size of baby: Your baby is now considered "full term," even though your due date is three weeks away. If you go into labor now, her lungs will likely be mature enough to fully adjust to life outside the womb. (Some babies need a bit more time, though. So if you're planning to have a repeat c-section, for example, your practitioner will schedule it for no earlier than 39 weeks unless there's a medical reason to intervene earlier.) Your baby weighs 6 1/3 pounds and measures a bit over 19 inches, head to heel (like a stalk of Swiss chard). Many babies have a full head of hair at birth, with locks from 1/2 inch to 1 1/2 inches long.
Total Weight Gain / Loss: 38 lbs
Gender: A little girlie girl - Kate
Movement: Rolling around like mad woman...
What I miss: Just being able to sit straight haha... Ribs are still killing me.
Sleep: Sleeping fine unless I start thinking about what's coming after I go to bathroom in the middle of the night. Then my mind starts racing and...
Symptoms: Nothing new.
Cravings: Nothing new this week. Just eating lots of carbs.
Best moment of this week: Being done with the version and having a plan of what's next.
What are we looking forward to: Setting the date for the c-section. It will happen sometime the week of Feb 20th. The doctor is supposed to call us sometime on Monday and let us know what his schedule is and the availability at the hospital.
Randoms: I am so glad that Kate will not be born in the early part of February during La Bise... Holy cow it is so cold right now!!! Also, I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT IN 2 WEEKS WE WILL BE PARENTS!!!! That is just crazy!!!
And here is my belly as of 37 weeks.
