US Baby Shower

My awesome friends Sarah, Emily and Colleen threw a baby shower for Kate and I while we were at home for Christmas break. I was completely surprised and so grateful when they told me what they were planning. I am truly blessed to have such amazing girls in my life.

They kept the details all secret and that's because the theme for the shower was Books. Each guest was asked to bring their favorite baby book and write a note for Kate inside the book instead of a card.

We had such an amazing time and Kate was definitely showered with incredible gifts. We got a play mat, the video monitor, the diaper genie, her diaper bag and paci pouch, Bumbo seat, pacis, blankets, burp cloths, ointments, cleaners, shopping art cover, towels and wash cloths and some super cute clothes. Oh and of course a whole entire collection of awesome books!! What a blessing too - I would have never known what books to get for her having grown up in a different culture and all that. So cool!!
