Here is the latest picture of the Little One - still laying on its belly facing down - to help you decide.
Now about what WE think it is going to be and what Old Wives Tales say...
1. CJ thinks it's a GIRL because literally ALL of our friends are having girls. Plus he says that girls are more difficult (really?? me??) and that God wants to challenge him that way.
2. I think it's a BOY. From the very beginning I've been having "boy" dreams whenever I dream about the baby. Plus I have a sister and pretty much all girl cousins, and I know nothing about raising boys, so exactly like CJ, I think this would be God's perfect trick to be played on me, ha ha ha... Also, my friend Colleen's midwife said that expectant Moms are typically right so...
Now for old wives tales and the like...
3. I checked several Chinese Baby Gender charts, and according some of them we're having a BOY (the one from The Bump) and others a GIRL (3 independent ones I found on the web). Result - inconclusive.
4. Carrying low vs high - how does either one look?? Based on the picture I posted the other day, do you think I am low or high?? I can't tell. I think I'm in the middle. If you can tell, please tell me.
5. Cravings - sweet vs salty - well... I can't look at sweet stuff (chocolate, cookies) which would mean BOY, but I don't necessarily crave salty either... More juicy and refreshing (fruit/veggies). What does that mean?
6. Baby heart rate - higher or lower - I think it has always been above 160, which would mean GIRL. But I read a scientific article that said ALL are typically between 120-160 in mid pregnancy...
7. Morning sickness - yes or no - No, so... BOY
And now for some really silly ones...
8. Which way my pillow faces - North or South - North, so... BOY
9. Month of conception Odd or Even - Even, so... BOY
10. (Warning TMI) Hair on my legs now grows Faster or Same as before - Faster, so... BOY
11. Do I eat the heel of a loaf of bread - No, so... GIRL
12. (Warning TMI) Have boobs grown dramatically - No, so... BOY
13. Problems with complexion (aka more pimples) - Yes! (I look like a pimply teenager, yuck...), so...GIRL
14. Feet colder now than before pregnancy - No, definitely as cold as always, so... GIRL
15. Then there is the one where belly shaped like a Basketball is BOY and Watermelon is GIRL. Can someone tell me what the difference is??? Because to me they look very much the same... So we'll skip that one.
I couldn't do the ring or needle tests because I am at home all by myself.

I vote boy based on the fact that you don't want sweets AND you aren't gaining any weight in your hips!
I voted boy, just a feeling. I think the wives tales are hilarious and since I've had both a boy and a girl I can tell you that none of them is a sure sign:)
