Work conference in Annecy, France

This week I had to attend a work conference in Annecy, France, a town about 1 and a half hours drive from Geneva.
The entire event started with a team building activity in Annemasse, France, where we had a cooking class. I was the only casualty – I sliced off my wedding finger fingertip while chopping parsley. It hurts but I think it’s ok.
This shows where Annecy and my hotel are located:

We stayed at a gorgeous hotel called Palace Menthon, right on the edge of Lac d’Annecy.
The hotel is an old, old castle and the week felt like a little vacation, with the weather in the 80’s and gorgeous views everywhere. Here are some photos.

The key will show you how old fashioned of a place this hotel is.

It is a gorgeous area and I can't wait for CJ and I to explore it together one weekend
