Official Stats:
Height: 33.25 inches (about 85%)
Weight: 27lb 8oz (about 65%)
She wears size 3T shirts, 2T pants and size 6 shoes (most brands).
She's still long and lean though you would not think that if you saw her round toddler belly. But the rest of her body is really lean and her doc says that some toddlers keep such a round belly till age of 4 so we're good with that...
Schedule:
Pretty similar still... Sleeps till about 6:45, but gets up between 7-7:30.
Breakfast: since our Seattle trip she has completely rejected her former love, the Panda puches (refillable) which were her breakfast favorite. And now she only wants to eat a NutriGrain bar slathered with peanut butter. PB is her new love. At school even the kids call her the Peanut Butter girl. Every time someone asks what she wants, she says 'peana bunna'.
Mon, Wed and Fri: school from 9-1pm
Tues: we spend the morning at Discovery Place Kids
Thurs: we have a Gymboree class
We stopped going to the library back in the fall as she seemed to be over that activity and plus now it is not working with her school schedule.
Nap: well since we started school, she's been pushing it to 2pm or later and only sleeping an hour at a time. I knew it would take her time to get adjusted to all the excitement and all, but it seems to have affected her for good. Oh well. It is what it is.
Afternoon: gets her milk and off to play outside if it's warm enough.
Dinner: at 6pm and most days daddy eats with us.

Bedtime: we head up around 7, read tons of books, she drinks milk, then off to brush teeth, wash face, and then to bed with her Bubba.
She loves coloring, painting, playing with play-doh and stickers. She is always on the helper stand which Daddy made her, and creating some masterpiece. She likes stuffing pompoms into holes in her toys, making bracelets from pipe cleaners and beads, LOVES animals still. She's more interested in them than in dolls. She has one small baby doll and for her birthday she got a 16inch toddler doll with hair and she seems scared of it, or kind of in awe of it. She acts shy and respectful with it which is NOT how she treats her other toys haha... Loves to dump everything out and make a mess. Loves cooking stuff up in her kitchen and playing grocery store with the puppet stage we got her. She loves hats and dressing up for play. She has a cowboy hat, a pirate hat, a fireman hat and a top hat (for playing magician) and is always accessorized appropriately. Also loves her princess dresses, shoes and crown and any bracelets and nexklaces. Loves her rocky horse, firetruck and dumptruck. She's really good at riding her trike. She loves her pink Step2 car and red wagon. Loves playing in the sand but doesn't like to get her hands dirty. That is also true of eating time. Asks to have her hands wiped whenever food gets on them and prefers using utensils or being fed to using hands.
She is still in love with the Bubble Guppies and also loves Curious George. And people I am telling you, TV can absolutely have a good esucational effect on a kid. She has learned so much about pretty complex things in the world around. Her understanding of thw world is amazing and I do attribute it to the shows se watches. They enable me to explain so many complicated things to her better.

She is a master at using my iPad and iPhone. We got her a bunch of apps by Tiny Hands and she loves them and could play with them (stack, sort, organize etc) for hours.
As far as eating, she is definitely a picky eater to a degree. She likes enough healthy foods to the point that I am not worried about getting proper nutrition into her, but she is pretty unwilling to try new food. She is the queen of the 'bleeeeh' which is when something she doesn't accept gets into her mouth she opens wide, sticks out her tongue way out and lets it land on the floor... haha... pretty hilarious to look at.
But again, the things she likes and eats are perfectly acceptable and nutritious so we're going with that. And I keep telling myself that no kid ever died of not trying rutabaga or alfalfa sprouts as a 2 year old. Heck, I never even ate stuff like sweet potato or avocado till I came to the US and I turned out fine.
She eats peanut butter, black and pinto beans, green beans, peas, carrots, corn, chicken (with ketchup aka dipping sauce haha), veggie soup (which is my way of hiding the stuff she doesn't like), sandwiches, any kind of pasta, mac&cheese, all natural turkey hot dogs, turkey deli meat, peaches, oranges, apples, grapes, loves strawberries, but they give her a diaper rash, raspberries and blueberries, bananas, pizza (we make at home or made from an english muffin). Best way to get her to eat avocado is mashed as guacamole with some whole grain tortilla chips. For snacks we like yogurt, cheese sticks, cottage cheese, goldfish and Lance PB crackers. She hates juice, so we just do water and milk. And really everything she eats is what we eat - and we eat very simple, basic, and healthy things. She's really an overal GREAT eater, she just is not a fan of trying new funny looking things. Aside from peanut butter, milk is her biggest love. She's still on whole milk as her doctor said that the new research shows that it is beneficial to keep kids on WM longer than till age of 2. No problem with us.
She's still an excellent night sleeper and decent napper. Loves her bed and now requests to sleep with two Bubbas (bunnies) and two teddy bears (Daddy Bear and Fluffy Bear). Not sure how that came about. Knock on wood, she has not tried climbing out of her crib. We want to keep her in it for as long as humanely possible, maybe till she's fully potty trained. She's such an ants in her pants kid that I totally see her climbing out of bed in the middle of the night to play, or going to explore the house - since she can now open doors on her own...
She is super sweet and funny when she's happy, but when she she's not, she turns into a little devil child and will throw the biggest nastiest tantrum ever... She usually saves all those for me. People always look at me like I'm crazy when I tell them how difficult she can be. Even Cory doesn't believe. It is a fact that kids save their best (worst) behavior for moms...
She's the sweetest little girl and we thank God every day (well maybe not when she throws a tantrum) that she is our daughter! Love you baby!!!
