One Sunday we took my sister and brother-in-law to an NFL game here in Charlotte. Katherine's godmother, Janice, graciously agreed to watch the kids for a few hours and luckily they both behaved for her.
The day was unseasonably warm (it didn't start that way but it sure got warmer and warmer as time went on) and even though we sat way up in the nose bleeds we had a fabulous time. We all got sunburns, which is pretty cool considering it was the end of October. We enjoyed some nice, cold beers and yummy nachos and pretzels. It was great!
The Panthers played St. Louis Rams and they won that game which was a bonus! If you follow Carolina football, you will know how measly of a team we have been lately. So winning was actually an unexpected, cool turn out.
Oh, since it was October, they did a special breast cancer show during half-time. It was spectacular with hundreds of pink balloons being released in the air. Lovely!
Here are some photos (I am stealing them from my sister...)
