Birkdale Village Singing Bears

Aside from the aweseome tree, Birkdale Village also has a Santa hut where you can bring kids for the usual Santa visit and photo op, and also a hut with four singing bears. The bears (Honey Bear, Chuckles, Grizzy Gus and Blue) do a 20 minute show every hour and kids just absolutely love it! They are mechanized, they have their own unique characteristics, they crack jokes and they sing all the holiday favorites. Every time we went there was always a crowd of kids trying to get as close as possible.
After the first visit, during which she was clinging to me kind of terrified but also mesmerized by the moving figures, she totally got over and would run right to the very front. Honey Bear (the girl polar bear) was her favorite and she would always make some comments at totally random times Honey Bear this and Honey Bear that. If I ever broke out in singing one of their songs (and the way they sing them is super catchy) she'd get the biggest smile and then of course she'd ask to 'go see bears again'.
