America I will miss you!

So we're officially en route to Geneva... We've turned off water, locked the house, loaded ourselved and our suitcases into the towncar and now we're sitting at the CLT airport Business Lounge waiting for our flight to board...

I almost cried when we were leaving our neighborhood. I will miss this place so much. Still can't believe that we are leaving for 2 years!

We have a direct flight to Munich (at 5:30), we land there at 8am local time (2am US), then we have a 2 hour layover and we take a 1.5 hour long flight to Geneva. We should be at our destination around noon (6am US time).

We're flying business class which means individual full lenght fully reclining seats (basically beds!) with pillows and comforters, on demand tv, plated dinner and unlimited alcohol... I can travel like this anytime. Of course next time we fly we will be in the back of the bus... Nice...
