One Saturday in November we met some friends and their kids at Rural Hill to watch sheep dog trials. It was a pretty cold day and I felt sooo bad for the dogs that were competing in the dock dog water jumps. But they seemed to have a blast and the kids loved seeing all the splashing.
In addition to the actual sheep herding competition and water jumping, there was agility training and show, pumpkin catapulting (AWESOME! So wish I had taken some pics or videos of that), kids could ride little tractors and of course there were bounce houses set up for the little ones and vendor and food stands set up for patrons. Katherine is still asking to 'watch doggies jump' weeks after this event...Here is a gorgeous dog in action...
