We spent the week of my birthday at the beach on our first family beach vacation. We rented a 2 bedroom 2 bath condo off VRBO, and it turned out pretty nice. We were right on the beach and woke up to an ocean view every day. We spent lots of time on our ocean front balcony, at the beach and at the pool in our complex. Fun times. There are so many different photos that I want to share that I think I'm going to split up the vacay post into multiple parts.
Here are pictures from the beach. The forecast said high chance of rain every day, but it worked out that pretty much each storm happened during Katherine's nap so all good. On top of that mornings tended to be a bit overcast so we were able to play on the beach for hours without worrying about getting a sunburn.
Incase you wondered, these were NOT all taken on the same day... I just only brought 1 swimsuit for myself. I packed half the house for Katherine but almost nothing for myself apparently.
Now in the afternoons we either went to the pool, or to a local playground or the local nature museum... Lots of fun things to do there!
Overall it's a great vacation spot!
