Katherine and I spent yesterday afternoon at a friend's house and since it was Katherine's birthday, we brought yummy cupcakes to share with Leah and her little girl Emery.
Completely unplanned, it turned into the awesomest birthday smash (cup)cake photo session ever! Thank you so much Leah for taking the amazing photos. I was so impressed with Katherine's skills! She has never been into sweet stuff, but she literally dismembered that cupcake! We had a fabulous time, but unfortunately all the sugar messed with Katherine's system and she absolutely refused to nap that afternoon. She went awake from noon till about 6:45pm, which is the longest she has ever been awake. I am already scared of the day of her birthday party...

And this is how a nice and proper toddler eats a cupcake without making any mess! Miss Emery enjoying her treat. We have a long way to go.
