Hi everyone! I wanted to put up a quick note about my trip to Copenhagen Denmark this past week.
As many of you know I studied there in 2000 so it was fun to go back even though it was for work.
The cool part was that I got to stay in the city very close to where I used to live, and visited a lot of fun places in the city.
First to start I wanted to show you what $250 a night gets you for a hotel room, pretty basic right. In the bathroom it is just a toilet and sink then you pull a curtain across and that's your shower. The Danes are all about space saving.
The city pictures are from the city square and the main walking street through the center of town. A long time ago they shut the street down to traffic and now you can walk across the city from the harbor to the square without cars and traffic.
The rest of the pictures are from a very old garden/amusement park that is in the center of the city. It is a really cool place for kids and adults. The buildings are meant to represent cultures from across the world... it is a really cool place.
The last note which I wanted to share is how much fun it is to have dinner, drinks and to walk home at 11pm at night and its still light out. However remember to close the blinds because the sun is up before 5am, which is not so cool after a night of drinking!
