Later that day our neighborhood was hosting an Easter Egg Hunt for all the kids (and adults). They do it every year and here you can read about us doing it the year before. At that time Katherine couldn't yet walk on her won so we were running around with her holding her hand... Not the case this year! She did great! In addition to the hunt, they had an animal balloon maker, a band, and mini choo choo rides for the kids (well the parents were riding too, at least we did)

After this event was done we headed home and had yet ANOTHER egg hunt for Katherine and her best friend Leila in our backyard. Oh the girls had so much fun! Katherine was especially excited when she discovered that our eggs had chocolate in them... The ones from our clubhouse were filled with fruit snacks which is of course the right thing to do, but not nearly as exciting to kids like chocolate haha...
So much fun at Easter this year!
