Katherine has been cruising and walking while holding on to one hand with us for a while. But we couldn't get her to feel confident enough to let go. Then a couple of weeks ago I started forcing her to let go. She would stand for a while if she didn't realize nobody was holding her and then she would plop down. Then she started taking a step or two or just lean and fall into our arms. Then she finally started feeling confident. She has been willingly letting go and taking 2-3 steps for a little over a week now but today (let the day after tax day be remembered as THE day) she stood up out of her little arm chair and walked over to me. She completely surprised me with that. I wasn't looking and all of a sudden she was standing next to me which means she just came over!. And then I managed t trick her into coming over to get a bracelet. THAT I got on film. I expect full on marching in a matter of days. It is not the best video but you can definitely see she is doing it on her own. That's the best I can do when it's just me doing the whole thing while Daddy is out of town.
Enjoy!
