Sewing machine

My old Singer bit the dust a few years ago and I have been machie-less since then. I have always liked sewing and have made quite a bit of my own clothes back in the college days. Most of my skirts were hand made by Moi.
So now that we are looking at replacing the curtains in our great room/kitchen combo, I decided to invest in something new so that I can make the panels (or whatever we decode to do) myself. Invest is an overstatement though... This little Brother machine is very inexpensive but had awesome reviews online. I just wish I had gotten it before I hemmed the entire 4 sided bed skirt for Katherine's crib using iron on tape... Hmmm...
